Sierra loved her town and longed to show the residents that Jesus loved them. She wanted to start conversations about faith with her community. When she was on Instagram one day, the idea struck her. She would create a blog about fun things to do in her city.
Sierra spent each post highlighting something cool about her hometown. She wrote one blog about the best local ice cream shops. Then another one followed about the best hair salons. She also created a list of local churches, taking time to point out fun upcoming events.
The results were positive! Sierra received messages from local residents who were curious about the town they lived in, as well as from tourists who had questions about vacationing in the area.
You don’t have to talk strictly about your faith on your blog or website. You can start with a general topic like Sierra did and slowly weave in information about your faith or your local church.

Lord, show me how I can reach out to the people of my city. I passionately want them to know Your love. Please use my efforts online to draw others closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
