Disasters can happen at any time. Hurricanes, tornadoes, snow storms, wildfires. Are you prepared? Continue reading Disaster Preparedness – What Supplies Do You Need?
It’s been a long week. The Whole30 program is progressing, but I’m still not seeing much improvement; however, my husband is feeling better and is noticing his pants are fitting better. Continue reading Whole30 – Days 9-13 – I had a bite and a slip!
I have severe anxiety. Not just that, I have multiple anxiety triggers: social situations, driving, and general anxiety (it can happen at any time with no warning). I used to be so scared to let people know. But now I realize it is okay. If I can help one person, I feel that I will have accomplished something. Continue reading Do You Have Anxiety? I feel like I am so behind. Starting the Whole30 program has left me very tired. I’ve been wanting to start many posts about homeschool for a while now, but I’ve just been too tired. Sound familiar?
As homeschool moms (or dads), we have a tendency to spend all our energy on our children. I can relate. My boys are in 10th and 9th grade right now, so Crown Academy is officially a High School. It’s hard to believe. Just the other day they were babies!! Continue reading 3 Top Homeschool Resources

There is not a mandatory start date, nor an ending date. As long as you get your days in, everything is good. Continue reading Our First Week of Homeschool This Year
Oh the joys of family life. I love my extended family dearly, but it’s true what some say. After a few days, it is time for everyone to go.
I am an extreme introvert. I don’t like a lot of noise. Yes, I have 3 boys, but after so many years I can usually tune them out. I think most moms get to this point with their own children. Continue reading 4 Items to Consider When Family Comes to Town
